01 — How the work is written

The plan exists before session one.

Every client starts with a written block: eight or twelve weeks, a stated number of sessions per week, and one metric we agree on in advance. Nothing is improvised on the gym floor, and nothing is promised that cannot be logged.

  • A.Assessed. Baseline numbers recorded in writing before the first working set.
  • B.Written. Sets, loading progression and rest periods set out session by session.
  • C.Approved. You read it, you sign it, then we train against it.

03 — The Cycle

Plan, log, metric, review

Every block runs the same four steps in the same order, in the studio or online. After the block is agreed, nothing is improvised.

  1. 01

    Plan

Before the first session the coach writes the block in full: 8 or 12 weeks, sessions per week, working loads, and the one metric we intend to move. You read it and approve it before anything is booked.

  2. 02

    Log

Each session is entered in the logbook the same day: sets, loads, reps, reported effort, sleep, and anything you flag as pain. The log stays open to you, including the weeks that go badly.

  3. 03

    Metric

One metric is agreed before work starts, and its start value is recorded in writing on the plan page. Nothing else is treated as progress. It is re-tested on the same equipment, in the same conditions, at the close of the block.

  4. 04

    Review

At the end of the block the recorded start value is set against the re-test on one written page: what moved, what did not, what changes next. A flat metric is written down exactly like a gain.

The start value of the single agreed metric is written on the plan before session one, and it is the same number we return to at review.

04 — Formats

In-Person and Online

Both formats run the same plan, log, metric and review cycle. What changes is where the feedback happens and how fast it lands.

Switching mid-block is allowed once. If the format is unclear, a 20-minute call settles it before anything is written. Book the call.

05 — Next step

The block starts with a conversation, not a contract.

Thirty minutes. We agree on one metric, record its starting value, and set the block length and weekly session count in writing before the first session.
